Hypnosis Vs. Hypotherapy

What's the difference between hypnosis and hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a state of mind. Hypnotherapy is the use of that state of mind (hypnosis) for therapy. Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to help your unconscious mind change in a positive way.

It's important to understand that hypnosis itself is not a therapy. The therapeutic part of a hypnotherapy session comes after hypnosis has been used to place the subject in a hypnotic trance. Hypnosis is the tool by which hypnotherapy helps you to achieve your goals or to remove your problems.
